HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of this position include performing maintenance and service for various types of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment and systems. Show the ability to work on all types of forced air heating and air conditioning split systems, hydronic boiler systems, ductless split systems, and packaged equipment. An understanding of the operation of HVAC systems along with troubleshooting and diagnosing skills are recommended for the position.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Adhere to corporate policy on safety and follow all safe work practices and procedures.
  
• Respond to residential and light commercial HVAC maintenance and service assignments as dispatched by supervisor.
  
• Provide troubleshooting skills for all types of residential-light commercial HVAC systems.
  
• Provide required support in estimating service work and coordination of projects.
  
• Communicate with customers and show a high level of customer service skills.
  
• Coordinate projects, work schedules and materials as needed.
  
• Communicate to project managers, dispatchers and service managers any scheduling issues and manpower required to meet project goals.
  
• Ensure that work is executed in an efficient and productive manor. Attempt to limit the number of outside distractions that could occur while performing your work.
  
• Be familiar with all HVAC services we provide and display the ability to discuss with customers or prospective customers.
  
• Offer and sell “add-on” services and equipment on existing installations and service calls
  
• Provide installation start up information, follow all manufacturers recommendations and adjust equipment set up as required.
• Assist and participate in the company on-call rotation.
