How long with Betlem Residential Heating and Air Conditioning?

I started with the company in 2003 as an installation mechanic, and then worked my way up to service technician.

 

Responsibilities as Home Performance Specialist?

As a service tech, my role is problem-solver. Sometimes you get a tricky or difficult service problem that requires a specific solution — my job is to know those solutions. I also assume all of the responsibilities of our Home Energy Audits division, going into people's homes and determining the smartest ways to make those homes safer and more energy-efficient.

 

Special training, credentials or accomplishments?

My training in Home Energy Audits is pretty extensive — I've spent years learning how to identify and remedy home energy inefficiencies, and I'm well-versed in all the different ways to keep all types of homes safer and more comfortable. I've completed my NATE certification, which is a complete apprenticeship training program given by the local 46 Sheet Metal Workers, and I'm also certified by the Building Performance Institute (BPI) as a Building Analyst, Heating, Cooling and Envelope professional. And of course, I stay current with all the latest training classes.

 

Life outside of Betlem Residential Heating and Air Conditioning?

When I'm not in somebody's home, helping them with their heating & cooling, you'll find me in one of two places — on the golf course, or at a baseball game!
